Michael Labrum is the Executive Director of Deeper Walk, a spiritual formation and direction ministry that helps pastors, ministry leaders, and everyday followers of Jesus slow down, pay attention to their own souls, and notice the voice and fingerprints of God in their lives. After more than two decades in pastoral ministry serving as a youth pastor, associate pastor, lead pastor, campus pastor, and in district leadership, Michael understands both the beauty and the weight of ministry. His own journey through seasons of loss, depression, and burnout reshaped not only his life but also his calling. Through the gift of spiritual direction, he discovered what it means to have a trusted companion who listens deeply, asks Spirit-led questions, and helps us become more attentive to God's presence. Today, Michael walks alongside pastors, leaders, and individuals through spiritual direction, retreats, workshops, and speaking engagements, creating space for people to listen for God's voice, discern His invitations, and experience the transforming love of God. He is the author of three books, including Living Your Story and the On My Behalf prayer series, and regularly speaks on spiritual formation, soul care, grief and loss, discernment, leadership health, and living attentively to God. Whether speaking to a room of pastors or a congregation seeking a deeper walk with Christ, Michael's passion is to help people discover that God is often at work long before we become aware, and that transformation is His gentle work in us.
